Analytical cookies

Cookies are set through our website by companies that provide services for collecting and understanding the use of our websites. We use these services to obtain reports on which visitors use our websites and how they use them. The services that set these cookies are:

  1. Google’s Analytics service. The information collected by Google is anonymised as much as possible and is not linked to your account if you are a customer of ours. Your IP address is expressly not included. The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google claims to comply with the Privacy Shield Principles and is a member of the US Department of Commerce’s Privacy Shield programme. This means that there is an adequate level of protection for the processing of any personal data. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or if third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.

Tracking cookies and pixels

With your permission, our advertisers place tracking cookies and pixels on your device. These are used to track which websites and pages you visit and have visited, in order to build up a profile of your preferences and interests. This profile is not linked to your personal account with us, but only serves to tailor ads to your preferences. This allows you to see as many ads as possible that are relevant to you.

Our advertisers are Facebook and Google. Facebook and Google use tracking cookies and other techniques to create a profile of website visitors. With these techniques, they track the browsing behaviour of individual visitors.
